waterworksi can't see the sky. is it still there? hello? supposed everpresent but not so,waterworks
hidden by a cloud, so easily cast to another world…
i can't see the sky but maybe it's my eyes (as earthbound as my feet) that are clouded. there's no rain, no dark, so maybe it's me. (but i'm no storm)
what's a storm? just celestial waterworks, borne not of grief but a need to be heard to wreak destruction while mortals observe and wonder –
a storm flows from my mind. ma

it was splashed with that impatient water ignored by the world but wept for by this single languishing stream
and it's this forgotten autograph (heard maybe only by the melancholy song on the radio) and how it vanishes around the bend –
this tells me you wouldn't want me to miss you
